A fast favorite, the Point Loma Fish Shop is one of the newest places to grab amazing food and great drinks at in the fishing center of San Diego. This location serves the freshest fish in town and has a diverse menu to choose from and customize to your preferences. Pick your fish, with your choice of 11 different seafood including scallops, jumbo shrimp, and swordfish. Pick a marinade and then choose your style! Fan favorites include the fish sandwich, onion rings, and swordfish. You honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu!
Starters were a hit with crab cakes and an array of tacos. The TKO taco is one of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had, but they were all incredibly tasty. Favorite marinade? Hands down the Fish Shop seasoning. The jumbo shrimp in the classic seasoning on a bed of lettuce with fresh veggies and a light yet slightly creamy citrus vinaigrette tasted like it should have been more sinful – it was that GOOD.
Counter service provides fast and friendly service with a casual vibe. The open patio creates a laid-back atmosphere perfect for sitting back – and it’s also dog friendly! There’s plenty of seating available around the sunny open floor plan. Don’t miss out on $1 oysters on Thursday’s! Bring a bottle of wine and only get charged a $5 corkage fee or choose from a selection of draft beers.
