It’s almost the weekend and we at DJhere couldn’t be more thankful! Sure, the work week is okay (it’s nice to feel like you got some shit done and didn’t lay around for hours watching re-runs of Family Guy or even better, Law&Order), but really, who are we kidding here…it’s the Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday grind that makes life worthwhile! So let us be your guide on what is exciting during YOUR off time. Also, let us know what you would like to see more of, or even what you would like to see less of! Remember, it’s YOU who sets the party pace! We just start the fire.
Thursday: ADRIAN LUX @ VOYEUR – 07/13/12
Adrian Lux ‘is pressin to play’…this Swedish born DJ brings some heat to the turntables and is the producer of some of the most well know party anthems such as, ‘Teenage Crimes’ and ‘Can’t Sleep’. He is one of my very personal favorites so… you should get to like him too.
He originally started off as a young producer of hip hop beats but took a trip to Brazil and was thrown into the wild world of EDM. Pretty soon, he began to climb the recognition charts as bigger artists such as Pete Tong and Sebastian Ingrosso started praising his efforts.
Random Fact: Lux is also married to Rebecca Scheja from famed DJ duo Rebecca&Fiona!
Basically, it’s going to be a damn good party. You already know the folks at Voyeur put on a great Thursday…now let Adrian Lux take control!

Friday: DJ SHOWDOWN ROUND TWO @ THE HARD ROCK HOTEL SAN DIEGO

Saturday: IVY SATURDAYS – SUPERHEROES AND VILLAINS WITH SEX PANTHER
It’s COMIC-CON in San Diego! Who else better to come save the halls of the Ivy Nightclub than SEX PANTHER! These guys bring some serious party wherever they go, and will be sure to keep you from the harmful threat of boredom!
Lipstik Inc., (the resident dancers of the Ivy Nightclub), will also be putting on special themed performances throughout the night so don’t miss out on the mischief they have been preparing all week for!

Sunday: INTERVENTION WITH THE EC TWINS w/ NADIA ALI PERFORMING LIVE AT THE HARD ROCK HOTEL SAN DIEGO
Sundays are reserved for the very best parties…always. San Diego is no exception! We have the incredibly handsome and talented DJ duo EC Twins bringing us their Manchester sound, and angelic-voiced Nadia Ali will also be performing live for all us to enjoy in the sun.
EC Twins started off with promoter roots as flyer boys in Scotland at the young age of 16. They quickly achieved success and soon opened up the most popular club in the city of Edinburgh, Eye Candy. After that, it was to the stars and sunny streets of LA to grow their EDM careers and create a following. It take long for these twins to generate a buzz that grew faster than they would of ever wished for. With them holding down residencies at nightlife mainstays such as MARQUEE in LAS VEGAS, SUPPERCLUB LA, and FLUXX SAN DIEGO, you can be sure that this Sunday at INTERVENTION SAN DIEGO will be one for the books.
Hailing from Queens, NY, Nadia Ali is no newbie to the music scene. She gained recognition in the girl group iiO with the hit ‘Rapture’ which shot up the charts in 2001. Since then, she has been releasing hits with well-known club DJ’s as the beautiful vocals behind their sounds. Ali released the single “Pressure” with Starkillers and Alex Kenji in 2011, which became a club and festival anthem and received an International Dance Music Award. She will be at Intervention performing live this Sunday!
