The 3 Kings of Dance Music have officially called it quits. They posted on their website today stating that “the tour we are about to go on will be our last. We want to thank every single one of you that came with us on this journey. We came, We Rave, We loved.” They went on to sign their names on the bottom of the message to add to the authenticity of the message.
This news also follows the announcement of what looks to be their last single. Axwell went on to say about the track “that the only thing we can say is that we were at this amazing house in Sydney by the water, and we were trying to take in all the amazingness of Sydney. So we took out a couch … and sat in the garden with the ocean view there. And we were like, ‘OK, let’s make something that sounds how this looks.’ ”
So today’s news seems to be bittersweet. We gain what possibly could be the Mafia’s greatest track, next to ‘One’ of course; however, we lose arguably the most important 3 people in the EDM Revolution that is taking place. Without these guys, America would have never entered this revolution. Its a fact. Whether you hate them, or love them as much as I do, you must respect the fact that these guys are the Kings of EDM, and no one else is close.
