Del Mar, California. The beaches are historically beautiful and so are the people. Every year, locals look forward to the most celebrated event at the greens…Opening Day at the Horse Races where the ‘Turf Meet’s the Surf’! This year is no exception. The city and beaches are a-buzz with excitiment over who will we see, what are we going to wear, and most importantly, how the hell are we getting there?! At this time of year, no one should be stressed out over the details. Just dress yourself (well), grab your bottle of champagne, and let us take the reins to your party plans this Opening Day 2012!

We will be starting the party at Firehouse in Pacific Beach where the rooftop is always alive with energy and flowing drinks. The beautiful beach scenery doesn’t hurt either Static Promenade will be dropping the post-party beats so if you have heard the duo play before, your in for a musical treat! Sharing stages with DJ’s such as Michael Woods, Designer Drugs, and ATB, TJ and Jorge are bound to make you dance!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Rooftop at Firehouse is the perfect place to start your party…they boast a beautiful view with ample room to create your own mischeif! It’sowned by Matt Spencer (SDCM) and is known for bridging the gap between swanky Miami style lounges and the laid back vibe of pacific beach.

The actual bus will board to Del Mar at 1:00PM and returns 30 minutes before the last race. That means, plenty of time to get drunk and run around in our ‘adult’ getups! At the horse races, we will have plenty of time to take memorable pictures, show off all the new threads, and mingle with San Diego elite.

 

 

 

 

When we return to Pacific Beach, Firehouse will just be starting to go back off with the sounds of Johnny Rayburn. Johnny is a local favorite who is SO VERY TALENTED and is quickly rising in status. He has closed off Michael Wood’s Intervention set, is frequently booked out by San Diego’s hottest clubs, and also contributes to the continued success of DJhere Productions.

 

Closing for the night is another local Cheyenne Giles, whose group BACK FROM THE FUTURE’s dubstep remixes have been climbing the Beatport and Soundcloud charts pretty heavily.

For ticketing, we have a limited amount of $40 pre-sales that will run out quickly so be sure to reserve your spot today. Once those are out, we will be offering rides at $50 a ticket. This ticket amount includes a round-trip to Opening Day, and specials at Firehouse before and after the races. These will be:

3. $150 bottles of Vodka (guess what we are doing)
