Labor Day is no joke here in America’s Finest City and travelers come from far and wide to enjoy our paradise that is San Diego. We all know our nightlife is amazing…but we’ve added a little extra to make sure this weekend is especially memorable. From our new brunch-time at Quality Social, Intervention at the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, the sister party of Rehab at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, the energy-filled atmosphere of Five/Ten at Side Bar Nightclub, and the Grand Re-Opening of 207 in the Hard Rock, there are tons of events happening this weekend to keep your short attention spans stimulated! Zomboy – Originally from a background of more traditional sound engineering, running his own recording studio, recording bands, artists, and gaining a following in America with his solo project “Place Your Bet$”, it was when he moved to Guildford, UK to study a degree in Music production at the ACM that Zomboy discovered a new love for electronic music. Zomboy sites influences such as Skrillex, Reso, Rusko…, and Bare Noize as the reason he wanted to dominate the dubstep scene. One to watch is an understatement…

If you haven’t heard of them, New Boyz is an American hip hop/rap group and  former jerkin crew duo consisting of rappers Earl “Ben J” Benjamin (born October 13, 1991) and Dominic “Legacy” Thomas (born October 12, 1991) from Hesperia, California. Their smash hits, ‘You’re A Jerk”, and ‘Tie Me Down’ hit the top of the Billboard charts quickly after their debut, so this is one show you definitely do NOT want to miss!

This Saturday in honor of Labor Day, the Hard Rock is throwing a double Intervention special for all you party faithfuls that will be just as good, if not better than Sundays performance. This Labor Day, the Ivy will open it’s pool to the public for the last in the ENDLESS SUMMER series. This one is the official Intervention After-Party! They will be hosting a special on their cabanas starting at the 6PM when doors open until 10PM so you need to call ahead and reserve your spot in order to guarantee a spot at one of the highest rooftops in the city. This is an after-party obviously so you can come in whatever the hell you dragged yourself in from Intervention earlier…we won’t judge you! Also, the pool is open allllll night long so feel free to take a dip!
