Maximillian Mullender…also known as “Max” is a DJhere Productions intern. He has been with the company for 3 months helping in the areas of web development and event production.
History…
1. Where are you from?
I was born in West Covina (LA County) , but I grew up in Laguna Beach.
2.What were you doing before you started working with DJhere?
I was going to school and running cross country & track.
3. What is your favorite part about what you do?
My favorite thing about what I do now?… Well there is many things. I love that I don’t have to come into work at 8am in a monkey suit, clean shaved and with short hair like most business jobs would require you to do. Even though I do sit in an office Monday through Friday on a computer most the time, I love that I get to change it up Friday through Sunday by getting out of the office and hanging out with some of the most attractive and fun people in all of San Diego. What part of that wouldn’t you like?
Moving on to the subject of love…
4. What have you learned from your past relationships?
Pass…..just kidding, probably nothing that significant since I have not been in that many real relationships. The only real relationship I have been in while in San Diego was when I was younger. But I learned that if a girl is going to try to tell you what to do and/or who you can and cannot talk to, then you better run for the hills and never talk to her again, delete her from facebook, your phone and everything and don’t ask why just do it….ok maybe that’s a little extreme but avoid those for sure. The most important thing in a relationship is trust and without that, any relationship will crumble.
5. What is the one thing that people do that most annoys you about someone you’re dating?
I’m a pretty laid back person so most things don’t bother me and I can see past a lot of things, but there are two things that equally annoy me, the first is someone trying to control me and tell me what to do. The more you tell me not to do something, the more I just want to do it. Then if a girl cannot hold an intelligent conversation for more then 5 minutes without saying “omg like” or “What???” a million times. But since I don’t date many people I would probably never end up even on a single date with a person like that.
6. What is your number one rule about dating in the industry?
The number one rule about dating in the industry is don’t talk about dating in the industry. Ok no, that isn’t the rule I just had to drop a “Fight Club” reference. I would probably say don’t date people who anyone you work with has dated any time recently. I mean it’s the same rule as anywhere you work, you shouldn’t create bad blood among the people you work with unless you want to no longer work in that industry. Everyone knows everyone and we all work together so you just shouldn’t piss other people off because you never know when it will screw you over in the future.
Just for fun…
7. If you knew the world was ending in 2012, what would you do differently?
Well since the world IS actually ending in 2012 and this isn’t a hypothetical question, I wouldn’t do anything different, I would keep living life to the fullest and savoring every moment and situation I have in life.
8. What is the #1 song on your iPod?
I don’t have an iPod. So I guess the correct answer would be the music of life.
9. Whats your favorite way to wake up and whats the first thing you do?
On my own! No loud annoying alarm clock, no one nudging you saying its time to wake up. My favorite way to wake up is to just naturally wake up on my own. I usually stretch for 5 minutes while still hiding under the covers. Then I walk downstairs play with my cat for a couple minutes and then look for something to eat.
10. What is the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?
Probably taking about a double over head wave so about a 12 foot wave while tandem kayak surfing and trying to drop in or jumping of a 80 foot cliff into the ocean. Both scared me half to death and I will never do again in my life. Once was enough for me.
