Last Sunday was Wintervention at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. This year, we featured entertainment artists NERVO as the main attraction for the winter-themed party. The two model turned DJ’s are gorgeous for one, and have a serious taste for music. The Hard Rock filled Legends Ballroom with all the daybeds, bars, and gogo boxes of the famed summer staple, Intervention. You could tell once you walked into the Hotel that the day was going to get a little…crazy…

The mood started off to a bang when the doors opened at 2:00pm from the beats created by the duo Static Promenade (which consists of friends TJ Kidder and Jorge Mendoza). The lights were low, and the liquor was flowing like water. As the tables and daybeds all started filling up, we were greeted by the sounds of DJ Johnny Rayburn. This young buck seriously knows how to hit the turntables, and received a very warm welcome from the party crowd that day. As the glow sticks started to get passed around, we had Erick Diaz come and rock the house. He was the opener for NERVO, and really set the stage for the ladies to come and finish it off.

Finally, it came to the big performance by the hottest ladies in the DJ world. NERVO opened up with the song, “The Way We See the World”, and immediately grabbed everyone in the rooms attention. Everywhere you looked, people had their hands up in the air and were moving to the music. Girls AND guys were jumping from daybed to daybed, and the room was PACKED! Nervo spun a solid two-hour set, and then it was time for them to get off, let someone else do the work, and PARTY!

The closer for the night was mix master Don Santino. He closed down the show, and let the attendees go home happy. At the end, the place looked like a tornado struck and hit right in the middle…which in this case, is a VERY good sign!

Overall, the day/night turned out to be very successful thanks to the many that worked the couple of hours that all of us were out for! So, thank you to the Hard Rock Hotel and all of the other companies that were involved in this project! See all of you again this Summer!
