As I’m sure many of you party goers have heard, “Riverside Muthaf*cka” is coming to dominate NYE festivities in San Diego this year! In just a few short weeks after the mistletoe has dried up and the presents have been opened, the San Diego nightlife scene will evolve into frenzied New Year madness. As if celebrating 2012 wasn’t enough of a reason to party till 6, 8, or 10 AM (depending on your stamina) –  Dutch DJ and producer Sidney Samson is going to ring us through the New Year in an unforgettable show at none other than Hard Rock Hotel San Diego. Last time Sidney made an appearance here, us SD partiers welcomed him with open arms when he replaced Martin Solveig at Hard Rock’s Labor Day edition of Intervention. He blew the party pants right off the crowd. You think this time will be much different? Different, yes. Better? Absolutely! This will be Sidney’s third time visiting San Diego since August. Aside from Intervention, he tore it up at DayGlow at the Valley View Casino Center dropping famous tracks like his “Coming Home Remix” which never tires.

One of Sidney’s major career achievements to date was being recently voted #92 in DJ Mag Top 100 DJ’s of 2011. His dedication is surely paying off. This year he’s been dropping highly acclaimed tracks under his new label, ‘Rock The Houze’ joining forces with other EDM elites like Sander Van Doorn and Steve Aoki. Growing up, Sidney first had an interest in Hip Hop which explains his collaboration with top-notch Hip Hop celeb’s like Will.I.Am, Lil’ Wayne, and Lil’ Jon. Sidney’s latest hit featuring Lil’ Jon titled ‘Mutate’ is just what the doctor ordered to get the party going. This thumping electro house track-hands down-will turn Hard Rock’s party upside down when played this New Year’s Eve!

Sidney never fails to bring his best at the biggest events of 2011 including Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Electric Zoo in New York, EDC in Las Vegas and Pacha Ibiza and Surrender in Las Vegas where he’s also a resident DJ. Being voted as one of the Top 100 DJ’s of 2011, Sidney definitely has something to celebrate. When asked about his accomplishment he explains, “I am extremely happy I entered the DJ Mag Top 100! I’ve worked many years to achieve this and it’s amazing to see that the fans appreciate my hard work! I think this will be the start of great new things and I can’t wait to show the fans what I’m working on!”

There you have it SD, a commitment from Sidney himself to show you just exactly what he’s been working on! Get ready for dance floor destruction only at the Hard Rock this New Year’s Eve featuring 5 venues, 3 floors and the sounds of Sidney Samson!
