a few years ago a friend of mine mockingly said, in response to dancing to music she liked in a club, “dance!? what is an appropriate way for a 25 year old girl to DANCE?!”. it really bothered me and i wasn’t sure why for some time. then i realized that in the days of DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill, Oakenfold, or Mark Farina dancing was why you were there. so in some sub conscience way, i must of have known at that moment, we were entering an era of … well, what turned out to be  all things cheese, fake, bottle service only, bad music, hummers, and what could only be called the “era of the douche-bag”.
